What SellZen collects

SellZen processes your verified account email and, when provided by your chosen sign-in service, your name and profile image. We also process item photos, item descriptions, listing drafts, approval records, marketplace account identifiers, encrypted authorization tokens, billing status, and listing status. We collect only what is needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How information is used

We use this information to identify and value items, prepare listings, connect the marketplace account you authorize, publish only after your approval, monitor listing status, prevent duplicate actions, provide support, and protect the service from abuse.

Product measurement

SellZen records a small number of service milestones—such as landing-page visits, analysis starts, completed drafts, approvals, plan selections, and subscription changes—to understand whether the product works. A random session identifier and campaign parameters may be stored in your browser and sent with those events. This first-party measurement does not store your IP address or full browser details, does not use an advertising pixel, and is not sold to third parties.

Marketplace access

eBay sign-in occurs on eBay. SellZen never asks for or stores your eBay password. eBay provides limited authorization tokens, which SellZen encrypts and uses only for the permissions you grant. You can revoke access through eBay or request disconnection from SellZen.

Service providers

SellZen uses Cloudflare for hosting, database, and private photo storage; your chosen Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in provider, or an email delivery provider for account verification and password recovery; AI providers for item analysis; Stripe for subscription checkout and billing management; and eBay when you connect an eBay account. Information is shared only as needed to provide those functions. Passwords are securely hashed, provider authorization tokens are encrypted, and SellZen does not store complete payment-card numbers or your provider passwords.

Retention and deletion

We retain records while your account is active and as needed for security, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and reliable marketplace operations. You may request deletion as described on the account deletion page.
